  Very disappointed in the way I was treated at the gate at 7:45pm Saturday evening! I asked one of the ladies at the gate what time they stopped charging for admission and received a very cocky response of "Until the last person comes in." When I asked about the change from last year, instead of being provided with an answer the lady replied in an even cockier tone "Well, you're coming here to be entertained, aren't you?!" I responded with "No, I was going to stop in and say hello to my best friend, my daughter, and my grandson." I then turned around and walked away. This exchange was witnessed by three people, including two friends of mine that were just leaving with their dog. One of them even commented to me about her attitude as we walked away from the gate together.
  
  I live across the street, was stopping in for maybe 15-20 minutes. Flee market was closed and, according to the EVENT PAGE on Facebook, the steam show closes at 7pm. Tell me why I would have gone there expecting to be "entertained" with the information the Facebook page provided me with?!?!?
  
  For the record, had it not been for the attitude I recieved at the gate, I would have GLADLY been willing to pay a discounted rate (given everything was closed or closing). I have been a paying visitor for well over a decade (closer to TWO decades)! I usually spend the day there all day on the last day of the event, visiting the flee market and food vendors, and checking out the tractors and steam engines....in fact, that WAS my plan for today. Now I don't plan on visiting today....or next year....perhaps never again, especially if that is how your staff is going to treat potential (and paying) customers!
  
  Additionally, if there has been a change in the so called "hours" for the steam show or in the time they stop charging, perhaps consider keeping social media pages and websites updated and giving visitors the courtesy of a heads up.
